Eve, Dr. Bach, and the Gift of Botanical Healing
I have been pondering the inspiration and depth of knowledge that Eve gained during her time in the Garden of Eden. She not only partook of the fruits therein but also held the sacred privilege of naming them. I believe she was gifted with the understanding of every plant’s specific intellect and healing power. The plant world was graced with unique species designed for healing on a soul level—a legacy of Eve, the Garden of Eden, and Bach Flower wisdom that remains with us today.
The Search for Emotional Relief
Plant-based healing has emerged throughout history to meet our deepest personal needs. As a "late bloomer," my own understanding of time and healing has become very important to me. Years ago, my husband and I raised a combined family of 11 children. As you can imagine, with a house full of teenagers, the emotional upheaval was 24/7. Eventually, the emotional stress became so heavy that I became physically ill. I reached a point where I desperately needed support. I tried conventional medications, but the side effects were more than I was willing to endure. This struggle started me on a journey of prayer and guidance, searching for a different direction.
"I needed emotional support... which led me to Bach Flower Remedies: specific flowers in nature that help balance emotions with no side effects."
Discovering the Legacy of Dr. Edward Bach
My search led me to a fascinating intersection of faith and nature. While researching, I came across the story of Dr. Edward Bach and his plant therapy for healing. I felt a deep connection between the botanical knowledge of Eve, the Garden of Eden, and Bach Flower remedies.
Dr. Bach (1886–1936) was a man of science and deep faith. He was a highly qualified surgeon, bacteriologist, and pathologist. He even developed vaccines for gut health and treated the Queen of England. However, in the 1920s, his research led him away from conventional medicine toward a more holistic path. He discovered that specific flowers in nature could balance specific emotions with no side effects.
From Inspiration to England: My Journey as a Practitioner
I was so inspired by Dr. Bach’s life that I read every book I could find. When I realized I could study at the Bach Centre in England to become a practitioner, I knew what I had to do. In 2020, I jumped on a plane to England! It was a beautiful, eye-opening experience that taught me things I didn’t even know existed.
Through the grace of God and these natural remedies, I found my own healing and a new direction in life. Upon my return, I had a beautiful little cottage, Honeysuckle Cottage, built to serve as my office. Surrounded by nature’s plants, it is a true oasis for healing. Today, as a practitioner, I am honored to help others find their own path to emotional harmony.
