Criteria for Choosing Plants
Plants are of three types:
The first group is relatively below that of a man, such as the primitive varieties, the plants that hurt us, the dodder (a parasitic climbing plant of the morning glory family), or poisonous plants, etc.
The second class is on the same relative scale as men, which are harmless and may be used as food to keep our bodies healthy.
The third group is relatively high or higher than average mankind.
Of these, we must choose our remedies, for they have been given the power to heal and to bless. These plants are there to extend a helping hand to mankind in those dark hours of forgetfulness when they lose sight of their divinity and allow the cloud of fear or pain to obscure their vision.
